New Year Revolutions?
I am now 17 Days behind on my resolution to keep up with my online persona. I decided this year, that I will learn something new.
2003 - Began seriously studying Japanese.
2004 - Learned to be single again.
2005 - Consumed by tennis.
So what can I challenge myself to do this year? Art. In 2006, I am reverting back to my junior high school days, and taking art seriously again. I have been sketching here and there, and I’ve even purchased a graphics tablet. I am learning to use Open Canvas (and some other Japanese programs). Once I improve, I am considering investing in better programs.
The 3-Day intensive English seminar for 1-8 is NEXT week! *dies* How much preparation have I done? Close to zero. I am burnt out. The senioritis has my inspiration and motivation by their noses. I hate that my contract ends at the end of July! It’s forcing me into fits of mopey, whiny, high-maintenance Karen. It’s annoying because everyone knows I am stressing, and I don’t want them to worry. Am still in a holding pattering about the 4th year information. I’ve thrown my hat in the ring, and at the moment, I am the only one. The wait is killing me. On the plus side, one of my student’s mother works at the AEON here at the Tottori Station, and she told me if I wanted a job, that they would certainly hire me. UGH. Too many options and I can’t move on them yet.
That’s it for now. Need bed.
